Lesson Overview
- Lesson 1: This lesson will introduce fractions, percentages, and decimals in everyday life.
- Lesson 2: This lesson will go more in depth with fractions and the percent they represent. It will have the learners find equivalent percents to basic fractions.
- Lesson 3: This lesson will review the previous days skills learned. This lesson will take the introduction of finding percentages using a 10 x 10 grid more in depth. It will allow the students to learn to use a 10 x 10 grid when trying to figure out what the percent of the fraction actually is. It will focus more on 1/3 and 1/6 percentages.
- Lesson 4: This lesson will review the previous days skills learned. This lesson will take the introduction of finding percentages using a 10 x 10 grid more in depth. It will focus specifically on having students find the percentages of 1/3, 2/3, 1/6, 2/6, 3/6, 4/6, and 5/6.
- Lesson 5: This lesson will review the previous days skills learned. The lesson will focus on finding fractional parts of the clock using only 12 hours of the clock.
- Lesson 6: This lesson will review the previous days skills learned. This lesson will take the introduction of adding clocks on fractions to adding more complex fractions and creating mixed fractions for answers.
- Lesson 7: This lesson will review the previous days skills learned. This lesson will take the introduction of adding clocks on fractions to now subtraction fractions with unlike denominators.
- Lesson 8: This lesson will review the previous days skills learned. The lesson will assess the students using a post-assessment provided.
